2019 Day 17 – Yalgoo to Perenjori
A chap from WA who I'd met way back near Port Augusta had told me that the little settlement of Paynes Find was 'Wildflower Central', so I took the dusty road in that direction.
He wasn't wrong. Plenty of whites, yellows and pinks.
I underestimated how long it would take to loop around to my intended destination, Perenjori.
Additionally I stopped to help a fellow traveller who was trying to bleed air from the fuel lines of his borrowed ute, without any tools to speak of. His eyes lit up when he saw my selection of spanners.
He put me onto a place to free camp for the night. I didn't get there until about 8 pm and basically just crashed into bed.
