59. Peak Hill
Foggy in Denman this morning. At least that means it's not hailing.
Continued up the Golden Hwy.
Had a quick look at one of my favourite little towns, Cassilis. There's still evidence of last year's bushfires in the surrounding countryside, but the town seemed to survive ok. Looks like the pub's closed down though.
The storm clouds were building during the afternoon, but fortunately nothing got close to us.
Stopped in Dubbo for a bit. I missed Prince Harry and Meghan by a day, damn! There are decorations up everywhere still.
Staying tonight at the Peak Hill showgrounds, sharing with one other van.
Lovely warm, calm evening.
