51. Myall Park

Another day that I didn't travel very far. Even less than yesterday. 73km in fact.
I was scanning my road atlas the other day and saw a place called Myall Park Botanic Gardens near Glenmorgan, in the middle of nowhere.
Intrigued, I googled it.  It was set up by Dave and Dorothy Gordon and is the home of Grevillea 'Robyn Gordon'.
I thought it might be worth a look on the way past, but I ended up staying 2 nights.

It has a small area for caravans / camping.
It's run by a Trust nowadays with volunteer caretakers on site.
It's a very peaceful spot.
I set up my van and was going to walk the 4km loop road, but it was getting warm so I just did some of the short walks.  There's a gallery there as well with the botanical art of Dorothy Gordon. Beautiful stuff. She was very accomplished.
