Said a sad farewell to Carnarvon Gorge. It is still a great place. I could easily have stayed another night or two but I headed off, mainly because of the call of Dulce Domum.
Headed south again on the Carnarvon Hwy. Like yesterday the sky darkened and then we were hit by a big deluge. Some very impressive lightning strikes on the ranges, too.

Staying tonight at the Roma Gun Club. Mmm... that sounds classy.
It's basically just a big asphalt carpark, with 2 very good qualities -- it's cheap, and it's not muddy. Very important after the deluge.
