44. Lake Elphinstone
I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. I've stayed in a lot of caravan parks in the last couple of years. Met a lot of people, too. They've all been pleasant people in their own way.
Until last night, that is. I had the misfortune to park next to a seriously miserable, unhappy couple who spent the early hours of the morning engaged in a full-on domestic. The details don't really bear repeating. Suffice it to say that the police attended twice. I didn't get any sleep after 3:30am. They were still arguing when I packed up and left at 7:00am. I'm just about over caravan parks.
Consequently I was feeling a bit stuffed today.
I headed inland to get away from the rat-race. I made it to Collinsville where I had to stop and have a snooze for a couple of hours.
Then I continued through Glenden (a mining town) to Lake Elphinstone which looks like a good spot.
