41. Townsville
I was up and about at 6:00am. So was my neighbour. We got talking. Turns out he's a heck of a nice guy. We talked for an hour or so until his wife emerged sleepily from their van with a 'where's my breakfast' look on her face.
Packed up and headed back to the Bruce Highway.
Tully Gorge has been a good place to dawdle. A bit compromised in some ways but some fantastic moments.
Now to Townsville and beyond.
