37. Tully Gorge NP

Today I drove up a bit further, as far as the road goes.  There's a small hydro power station and a big car park where the thrill-seekers come to raft down the Tully.  Busloads of 'em.

The flies are incredible once again.  It's too hot to wear long trousers and sleeves so I take refuge in the van.
There's a nice walk through the rainforest which I do several times a day.  I see quite a few of the spectacular Ulysses butterflies, but can't manage to get a photo -- they never seem to stop.  I take a few dragonfly snaps to console myself.
