Day 74, Mount Remarkable

Wouldn't you know it.  It started raining as I was trying to pack the van up this morning. Hopefully I can dry it out in the next couple of days.
Stopped in Whyalla for lunch. Feels like a bit of a ghost town.
Whyalla - where is everyone?
Stocked up with food and fuel in Port Augusta.
Headed for Mount Remarkable National Park - part of the southern Flinders Ranges.
It turns out to be remarkable.
The ranges are quite high and steep. The campground is set at the foot, beside Mambray Creek and amongst a mass of massive Redgums.
Mambray Creek
Kangaroos and Emus wander through.  Kookaburras laugh away. Heaps of good walks to do. Hot showers!! What's not to like?
