Day 60, Salmon Gums
The camping spot at Elverdton was very peaceful, but I was awake at first light, which is not much after 4:00am.
Lots of road-trains on the road to Esperance carting wheat and other crops. Harvest is in full swing here.
Esperance has the whitest sand and the bluest sea (even rivalling Bridgewater) that I think I've ever seen.
After a good look around I headed north for Norseman.
Camped for the night about halfway at Salmon Gums.
Got chatting to the Caretaker. He's been on the road for 28 years!
Met some fellow travellers in the pub who gave me half a dozen Smoky Bay oysters.
