Slept well but awoke early as the first road-train rolled by.
Headed into Albany to catch the morning light on the town.

I was pulling into the kerb to park and I managed to collect an overhanging power pole with the awning on the van, putting a severe ding in it in the process. I think it's probably useless now.
Once again my equanimity was taking a battering.

After a walk around I decided to get out of town while the going was still good.
I headed for Esperance. Camped for the night just out of Ravensthorpe at another free camping spot. Nice and quiet, 1km off the highway. The locality is called Elverdton I think, but there's nothing here.
