Shannon campground is one of the best. Quiet, secluded sites set amongst tall, shady trees. Camp hosts who keep the fires going in the boilers so that the showers are hot!
All for $11 per night. And there's hardly anyone here. Perfect.
The wildflowers are putting on a good show in the forest around here. There's heaps of what the locals call 'Wisteria' but is really Hardenbergia. Also 'Coral Vine' which is a Kennedia. Also many others.
