Day 35, House Creek

Got up early and took a few photos of the country around Tom Price.  It really is very picturesque.
Around Tom Price
Cruised along in a leisurely fashion to Paraburdoo, a mine workers' accommodation town where dad lived for a while about 47 years ago.  It looked vaguely familiar. Perhaps he showed us some photos? I don't remember.
'Resilience', Paraburdoo
Headed for the coast along the Nanutarra - Munjina Rd.  When I thought that I'd done enough driving for the day I stopped at a rest area at House Creek, about 60kms East of Nanutarra.
House Creek
WA has a great network of rest areas where the traveller is allowed to free camp for 24hrs. Quite often they're in a nice secluded location with shelter and shade.  A lot nicer than the caravan parks in many cases.  Not much in the way of amenities though - usually just a toilet.
