Day 30, Port Hedland

I wonder if anyone has ever looked at a map of the Western Australian coast, as I have, and thought, "I wonder what's between Port Hedland and Broome. I might take a trip up there and check it out".

There's just 600kms of nothingness interspersed by two roadhouses.

Sandfire Roadhouse

I'm in Port Hedland tonight. It's a busy sort of a place.  The scale of the iron ore exports through the port is impressive.
