Day 51, Canberra to Kosciuszko

What's that white stuff on the hills?

Charlotte Pass

Yes that's right, I'm now in the Snowy Mountains, on the flanks of Mt. Kosciuszko.  It's a lovely fresh 10 degrees up here.

I'm staying at Sawpit Creek, on the road from Jindabyne to Charlotte Pass.  The campground is very pleasant.  It's just me and the kangaroos and possums tonight.  I stuck my head out of the van with the head-torch on just before I turned in -- there were hundreds of little bats flitting around.
