Did my washing and tidied up a bit in the morning and then went to Katoomba for lunch.
Trekked down to the Leura Cascades.

Tried to see a few waterfalls but many are just trickling. Still, the views are nice.

Took the obligatory photo of the Three Sisters, this one from a slightly different angle. Very hazy, dull day unfortunately.

The thunder and lightning were building again , just as they seem to do every afternoon around here. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it doesn't. Today it absolutely teemed for about 10 minutes as I was driving back. The trouble was that I'd left the hatch open in the roof of the van, so I returned to a pretty soggy mess. Most of it was on the floor fortunately.
