Day 42, Mungo Brush

I thought it was so nice here that I decided to stay another day.
Last night was clear and calm and I could distinctly hear the noise of the waves breaking on the ocean beach.  This morning I walked there.  It wasn't far really.  The track was nice, winding through the coastal scrub to an exposed beach with a view to the Broughton Islands.

Then I did some of the lake walks through the dense, dark littoral rainforest.  Heaps of cabbage-tree palms, ferns, wonga-wonga vines, etc.

Saw a couple of dingoes, one a bit mangy, the other a picture of health although it was limping.

Now I have to make some decisions about where to next.
