Day 39, Smoky Cape

Very impressive display of lightning and thunder overnight plus a short, sharp deluge.

Clear and sunny in the morning.  I lazed around in the shade for much of the day.  Got quite hot, 33 degrees.  

Took a few walks around the campground and beach.  Watched a goanna trying to extract something from a tree hollow.  It spent all day and I don't think it succeeded.  There are sugar gliders around.
