Day 31, Marlborough to Rockhampton
Cool overnight. Woke to a foggy world.
Headed off early towards Rocky. Took the turnoff to Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast.
Yeppoon is a bit over-developed. Emu Park is just about right, if only it could stay that way. Keppel Sands is still a Sleepy Hollow.

The Captain Cook monument at Emu Park is a singing ship. It plays tunes in the wind. A bit mournful really.

Headed into Rocky and managed to score a good park in the centre of town. Marvelled at the quality and quantity of grand old buildings. There's a lot of streetscaping work being done along Quay Street, which fronts the Fitzroy River. Should be good when it's finished.

Stocked up on groceries and found a park that is central. Tested my backing skills. Lots of road noise unfortunately.
Very warm night.
