Day 5, Canowindra to Gilgandra
Night 5, Gilgandra Caravan Park
Only did 200kms or so today. Couldn't be bothered driving any further. The last couple of days I've been detouring around the floods and the roads have been rubbish. Always looking out for potholes. Worse than the roads around Portland!
Anyway, I got to Gilgandra where it was 29 degrees in the shade and decided 'No further', so grabbed a nice shady spot in the caravan park and cracked out the shorts.
Highlight of the day: Vanilla Slice at Geurie (SE of Dubbo). Nice wobbly custard and real passionfruit icing. Special!
