Day 21, Clermont to Charters Towers
Long day of driving. 370 kms between Clermont and Charters Towers with only a solitary roadhouse to break the monotony.
Glad to get to Charters Towers in the mid afternoon. Nice spacious caravan park. They gave me a shady spot up the back away from everybody.
Had a bit of a look around town. There's certainly some grand buildings. The wealth of gold at work.
