Day 16, Moura to Carnarvon Gorge
Woken early by the noise of mine workers leaving for work.
Headed west to Rolleston, then south to Carnarvon Gorge. It gets greener as you go west.
Unsealed road for the last 13 kms. The last 3 kms are quite rough. Very slow going with a couple of creek crossings.
Takarakka Bush Resort situated on a bend in the creek, just outside the mouth of the gorge.
Nice campsite amongst the macrozamias.
