Day 11, Armidale
I had a look at NERAM (New England Regional Art Museum) in the morning. There was a very good exhibition of Rennie Ellis photographs, mostly from the 70s and 80s. My favourite was a photo of the Richmond footballer Robbie McGhie at quarter time at the MCG, sitting on the ground doing up his bootlaces with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
In the afternoon Dee took me out to her daughter and son-in-law's farm, Fassifern, near Wollomombi. It's still got a lot of the old pioneer farm buildings, some of which are still in use.
We had a look at Wollomombi Falls and Gara Gorge on the way back.
